You will need clothes (pack appropriately for the time of year), suncream, mosquito repellent, a raincoat/waterproof jacket anda swimsuit. Please pack all of your belongings in a SMALL BAG of around 40L.

You can safely store your large backpack or suitcase at our hotel before your tour begins.
- For Ha Giang Loop tours that return to Ha Giang: Your luggage will be securely stored at our hotel and will be waiting for you when you return.
- For one-way tours ending in Cao Bang: We will transport your luggage to Cao Bang City, where you can collect it at the end of your tour.
Our luggage storage and transportation service is free of charge, so you only need to bring a small backpack (approximately 40 litres or less) with the clothes and personal items you’ll need during the tour. We recommend leaving your larger luggage with us for a more comfortable and enjoyable ride.
Yes, you can join our Self-Riding Tour if you have the required riding experience and hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) that is recognised in Vietnam.
To legally ride a motorcycle in Vietnam, you must:
- ✅ Have previous motorbike riding experience.
- ✅ Hold a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention with the appropriate motorcycle entitlement.
- ✅ Comply with Vietnamese traffic laws.
For your safety, our guides may assess your riding ability before the tour begins. If we believe you are not confident or experienced enough to ride safely, we may recommend switching to our Easy Rider option.
If you don’t have a valid licence or have little riding experience, we strongly recommend choosing an Easy Rider. You’ll ride as a passenger with one of our experienced local drivers, allowing you to relax and enjoy the incredible scenery without worrying about the road.
At the moment we accept cash payments only.
Payment is made upon arrival, and we accept Vietnamese Dong (VND), US Dollars (USD), and Euros (EUR).
If you arrive in Ha Giang the night before your tour, you’ll stay at BiBi Hostel, located in the heart of Ha Giang City.
One night in a shared dormitory is included free of charge with most of our tour packages. The hostel offers clean and comfortable facilities, including hot showers, free Wi-Fi, secure luggage storage, and a friendly atmosphere where you can meet other travelers.
If you prefer more privacy, private rooms are also available for an additional charge, subject to availability.
After a good night’s rest, you’ll enjoy breakfast at our hostel before meeting your guide and beginning your Ha Giang Loop adventure.
Our tours start at 8:30 AM from Numa Hotel in Ha Giang City.
Please arrive at least 15–30 minutes before departure to complete the check-in process, attend the safety briefing, and meet your guide and fellow travelers.
The finishing time depends on the tour you choose:
- Ha Giang Loop tours: Return to BiBi Hostel in Ha Giang at approximately 4:00–4:30 PM on the final day.
- Ha Giang to Cao Bang tours: Arrive in Cao Bang City at approximately 1:30–2:00 PM on the final day.
Yes! Private rooms are available for an additional charge, subject to availability.
If you prefer more privacy or are travelling as a couple, with family, or with friends, you can upgrade from the standard shared accommodation to a private room.
Please let us know when booking your tour, as the number of private rooms is limited, especially during the high season.

Our groups typically have 4–6 travelers, with a maximum of 8 travelers per group.

Yes ! We can arrange comfortable sleeper buses, VIP cabin buses from Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, Sapa, Ha Long, and many other destinations to Ha Giang.
Most buses arrive in Ha Giang City in the early morning or evening. Our team will be ready to welcome you at Numa Hotel, where you can relax, take a shower, store your luggage, and enjoy breakfast before your tour begins.
Tours start at 8:30am and finish around 4-5 pm on the last day at our hostel in Ha Giang.

We offer two types of tours, our 3 day 2 night tour and 4 day 3 night tour.
Option 1: 3 – Day, 2- Night Tour
Perfect for those with a limited time frame but still eager to explore Ha Giangs’s stunning mountainous terrain and waterfalls.This shorter itinerary lets you soak in the region’s natural beauty from winding mountain roads to panoramic viewpoints. It’s ideal for traveller’s who are on a tight schedule but still want to immerse themselves in the spirit of Ha Giang.
Option 2: 4 – Day, 3- Night Tour
For those seeking a more relaxed pace, our 4- day tour offers an extended adventure. This tour will take you all the way to the Chinese border, offering a unique glimpse into the remote northern frontier. You’ll spend more time at Ha Giang’s most remote and incredible viewpoints, allowing you to truly appreciate the majestic surroundings, travelling a total of 375km!
The weather in Ha Giang can be unpredictable, and can change quickly as you travel along the Ha Giang loop. As the loop covers a vast distance from mountains to valleys, the weather can vary dramatically between different areas, making it important to be prepared.

Yes! We can provide vegetarian meals throughout the tour.
If you are vegetarian, simply let us know when you book your tour. Our local restaurants and homestays will prepare delicious vegetarian dishes using fresh local ingredients.
Please note that meal options in remote mountain areas may be more limited than in larger cities, but we will always do our best to ensure you enjoy satisfying and nutritious meals.

If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, please let us know before your tour begins and carry any necessary medication (such as an EpiPen) with you at all times. Please also inform your tour guide on the first day of the tour so we can take extra care throughout your journey.

Every guest receives 1.5 litres of bottled drinking water per day during the tour.
If you need additional water, it can easily be purchased at local shops along the route.
During the tour, you’ll enjoy a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes and local specialities from the Ha Giang region.
Typical meals include rice, noodles, fresh vegetables, pork, chicken, beef, tofu, eggs, seasonal fruits, and homemade soups. Every meal is freshly prepared and served family-style, allowing everyone to share and experience authentic local cuisine.
