Con Dao
Con Dao archipelago is an island district in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, with a total area of about 76 km2 including 16 different large and small islands. In Con Son Island is the largest with an area of up to 51.52 km2. Because the population density is quite low (only about 110 people / km2), this is also one of the reasons why Con Dao still retains its wild beauty.
If in the past, Con Dao was known as “hell on earth” – the most notorious prison once in Vietnam, today, Con Dao is voted as one of the most attractive destinations in Asia.
