Travel Insurance

You can use your own insurance but the level of coverage needs to be equivalent to the coverage provided in our travel insurance so that you are adequately protected for the circumstances prevailing in Vietnam. When you have your own insurance you need to send us a copy of your certificate showing the level of coverage and the 24-hour emergency assistance number.

Price Policy

We aim to provide a quality service at a price that offers our clients excellent value. We are constantly reviewing the price of our tours and services to ensure that they are competitive. We will be happy to examine in detail any alternative quotation, should you find what appears to be a lower price from any other source. Most of the time we find that apparent alternatives are not comparable “like for like” but please send a copy of any quotation you may have and we will be happy to examine it in detail and send you a reply.

Price Guarantee

The above price is guaranteed valid for one calendar month from the date of this quotation (subject to availability). Thereafter, future changes in taxes, fuel surcharges, prices, and exchange rates may affect the price of your holiday and we may have to recost this itinerary, although this is unlikely. However, once you have booked, we send you a confirmation itinerary and Pro-forma invoice with the price fully guaranteed if you pay in full within thirty days of the date of invoice.

All care is taken to ensure that the information published on the website with regard to the destination, package, or its components is accurate. In some cases, the information provided may serve only as a guide and actual circumstances may differ whilst on tours, such as routing or accommodation.

Material published on the Website should not be viewed as advice and is provided for information purposes only. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the components of the package prior to purchase. Vietnam Tourcitizen reserves the right the alter Website information at any time without notice.

Vietnam Tourcitizen reserves the right to restrict access to the Website, from communicating with Vietnam Tourcitizen or from completing a booking for any reason and at any time at its sole discretion.

Reservation and Deposit 

Tour prices are subject to the availability of tours, airlines, special economy class fares, and specific airfare class availability. Prices may differ once airfare is sold out. All services are subject to availability.

Vietnam Tourcitizen reserves the right to release specials that are applicable to new bookings only and existing bookings are not transferrable. Once the deposit and/or airfare portion is paid, airline tickets will be reserved and bookings are not transferrable to any future specials.

Passenger names must be provided (exactly as per passport, including middle names), at the time of booking, as well as a valid passport copy. Any spelling corrections made after a deposit is paid must be sent in writing and will incur additional fees, including any ticket reissue fees. If you have decided not to take advantage of our air and land-inclusive packages, you will be required to email a copy of your flight schedule and passport copy at the time of final payment. 

Any verbal quote given is an indication only of the final price and is subject to confirmation in writing

Note that our packages with budget airlines (Air Asia, Jetstar Pacific) require a full payment per person.

Private Tours and Tailor-Made Tours require a 50% deposit.

Receipt of Deposit 

By sending a deposit the client agrees to be bound by the terms, conditions, and responsibilities set forth in this communication.

The client also agrees that:

All persons are fit and physically able to partake, unaided, in their chosen group tour as per the itinerary outlined. All persons traveling on a Private or Tailor-Made Tour are fit and physically able to partake, unaided, in their chosen itinerary. All persons acknowledge the physical demands involved in the tour they will be undertaking and have chosen to participate at their own risk.

Balance of payment 

The final balance of the travel arrangements is due at Vietnam Tourcitizen no later than 30 days prior to the confirmed tour departure date as confirmed by acceptance of the booking. Failure to pay in full by the due date may result in additional costs, which will be passed on as a late payment fee of no less than $50 per booking, or, cancellation at the company’s discretion. 

How about last-minute or late booking?

Payment must be made in full within three days after the company confirms that it is holding space. If payment is not so made, Vietnam Tourcitizen will have the right to cancel the booking at its discretion. The bookings may also incur additional fees for late booking including land tour, and airfare. 

Fees and charge

All prices are on a per-person twin share basis. It is the customer’s responsibility to review their order before payment as refunds may not be available or cancellation fees may apply should you cancel. You can connect with us before doing the payment. It will help you to check it again if you worried about a mistake

Hotel description, maps, and pictures 

The hotels listed in the terms of the package should be viewed as a guide only and, where not available, a hotel of similar standard will be provided. While all care is taken in selecting hotels of an appropriate standard, the day-to-day operations of the hotel remain beyond the control of Vietnam Tourictizen and any injury, illness or loss of enjoyment resulting from a fault on the part of the hotel will not be the responsibility of Vietnam Tourcitizen.

Hotel descriptions featured in this brochure/website/itinerary are based on current hotel guides provided by suppliers and contractual agreements. Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included for general information only and may not necessarily reflect actual routings, locations or services. Vietnam Tourcitizen has made reasonable inquiries to verify that the descriptions and details are accurate but does not warrant that they are.

Cancellation or Alteration by us

We expect and hope to be able to provide you with the services we confirmed to you at the time of booking. However, we plan arrangements many months in advance of your holiday, and use the services of independent suppliers such as hotels and airlines, over whom we have no direct control. Flight and transport times are given as an indication only; transport operators have no obligation to adhere to any specific timetable. In the event of the Company having to alter, amend or cancel the holiday we will endeavour to contact you and/or your travel agent as soon as reasonably possible. If we have to cancel your holiday you will be able to purchase another holiday from us or obtain a full refund of all monies paid. Most changes which arise are minor, but if we consider them a MAJOR CHANGE before your departure we will provide you with 3 alternatives: 1. Accept the alternative offered (at additional cost if applicable). 2. Purchase another available holiday from us. 3. Cancel your holiday with a full refund of all the monies paid. 

Change to destination

The itineraries provided serve as a guide only and may be subject to change without notice and at the discretion of Vietnam Tourcitizen. Itineraries may be altered for reasons including, but not limited to, weather conditions, social unrest, poor road conditions or generally to ensure the safe passage of customers. Itineraries may also be changed due to local circumstances or events. Changes may or may not be communicated prior to departure. Vietnam Tourcitizen will not be liable for any costs resulting from a change in itinerary due to factors beyond its control. Further, customers are not entitled to a refund for itinerary alterations resulting from factors beyond Vietnam Tourcitizen’s control.

Conduct

Vietnam Tourcitizen reserves the right to remove from the tour any traveler who’s behavior is considered inappropriate and not in the interests of other travelers. No refund will be available to anyone removed from the tour for inappropriate behavior.

Cancellation by customers 

For cancellations made within 14 days of paying the deposit on any tour, your deposit can be refunded in full or can be transferred to a new booking should you decide to change to another package or destination. After this time, your booking becomes non-refundable.

Privacy 

We are collecting your personal information so that we can process your booking. We will also keep you up to date with other Vietnam Tourcitizen’s offers and product information that may be of interest to you if you have consented to this. You can opt-out of receiving information at any time if you choose to do so. Any personal information you provide will be managed in accordance with the Vietnam Tourcitizen privacy policy.
