- Travel to Ha Giang city from Hanoi, Sapa, or other nearby locations. You can take sleeper buses or cars to reach Ha Giang, where the tour starts. If needed, the BiBi Ha Giang Loop team can assist with arranging transportation.

Start with breakfast at our hostel in Ha Giang, meet the team and prepare for the trips (you will leave your big luggage at my hostel in Ha Giang)
Leave the city behind and enjoy the serene views of majestic mountains and tranquil villages and begin the journey to Dong Van Geopark following a spectacular series of passes which wind through the mountains and valleys.
We will make stops at different viewpoints and locations:
- You can enjoy a cup of coffee in Quan Ba Heaven Gate with majestic mountain views.
- Visit Twin mountains
- Visit different villages Nam Dam, Lung Cam,…
- You will have a chance to see the former palace of the H’Mong King.
- Stop at different passes on the way: Tham Ma Pass, Chin Khoanh Pass,…
You will arrive in Dong Van Old Quarter where you will have dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night at homestay/hotel

- After breakfast, you can take a free walk around Dong Van Old Quarter , enjoy a cup of coffee. If you travel on Sunday, you also have a chance to visit a colorful local market in Dong Van.
- Continue to MeoVac through the famous Ma Pi Leng Pass at the altitude of 2,000m. You can go for a small hike and walk around to enjoy the magnificent mountain view and Nho Que River from above. If time allows, our tour guide will take you to local villages and schools.
- After lunch, you will continue the journey to Báo Lạc Town, Cao Bảng Province. We will travel to the Khau Cốc Trà pass (15th floor pass) and one of the most dangerous and dramatic passes in Việt Nam).
- Check-in at the local homestay in Bac Bo and spend the night with a tranquil atmosphere

After breakfast, we will embark on our journey to Cao Bang province. This will be the ALONG THE BORDER RIDE day of our trip as we follow a road that runs alongside the Chinese border. The landscapes along this route are quite remote and stunningly beautiful.
Today we will visit the highlight of the day:
- Nguom Ngao Cave is a natural wonder nestled in Gun Village of Cao Bang is home to multiple limestone chambers, floors, stairs, and corridors, each filled with stalactites and stalagmites in diverse forms. Some resemble coral reefs, ships, waterfalls, overturned lotus flowers, and even terraced fields.
- Ban Gioc Waterfall is the most famous attraction in the area and is just a short drive from Nguom Ngao Cave. This majestic waterfall straddles the border between Vietnam and China and is a must-see for anyone visiting Cao Bang.
Travel to the local homestay in Ban Gioc areas.

- After Breakfast in the homestay we will start the journey to Cao Bang city
- On the way you will have the chance to visit different villages where the locals make incense or farming tools.
- After that you will visit Angel Eyes mountain (or Nui Thung/Nui Mat Than). Nui Thung, also known as “Angel Eye Mountain”, gets its name from the enormous hole in the center of the mountain, measuring 50 meters in diameter, which passes through its face, resembling a giant eye at the heart of the mountain.
- Here you can take free walk to explore the area or do a picnic
- Hit the road again and come back to Cao Bang city
- You will end the trip around 1-2pm
- After that you can take the bus back to Hanoi (you can book yourselves or bibi team can help to arrange).

Please note that for self-driving options you will need to have an International driving permit to be able to ride. Otherwise you will get a fine from local police.
